After drying, the coating provides corrosion protection against erosion resistance with good protection characteristics against impact with stones and an exceptional effect of fading the noise produced by impact. The dry film adheres well to unpainted and painted steel sheet as well as to plastics that have been covered with filler primer. This product can be painted using commercially available paint systems and when completely dry is good for sanding and is resistant to solvents. By mixing the product with the original paint, it can be colored with any desired shade.

It is used for chassis and body components and plastic repairs as protection against the impact of stone and corrosion from salt and moisture defrosting. Gray Liqui Moly Stoneguard, 1000ml is not suitable for covering elastic materials. Surfaces to be treated with protective wax must be thoroughly cleaned beforehand. Rust must be removed. Surfaces must be dry and clean of dirt, grease and dust. The adhesion of the earphone can be increased if the surface to be covered is rough. Shake the contents of the box vigorously before use. Do not leave the containers open as a dent will form on the surface of the material. Thick layers should not be applied in a single spray. 4 separate sprays are recommended. If the surface is painted later, the layer becomes harder and harder, which means that the surface will have to be treated as a plastic, ie with adhesive primer for plastics. Shake well before use!
