Leather Glue Colourlock, 20ml is ideal for repairing tears, holes and for gluing edges from pinches or leather fibers.
The quantity of 20 ml of Leather Glue Colourlock, 20ml is enough to repair several centimeters of the tear or several tears.
Application:
Apply the adhesive sparingly, in a thin and extended layer on the narrow edges or inaccessible places using the Colourlock Mini Tip Brush. Let the glue dry, and if the area has been stabilized with Textile for Glue Repair, press a little until dry.
Large but repairable cracks and tears must be stabilized by lining with Textile for Glue Repair. Cut the material slightly larger than the size of the defect and mark its center with a marker or a piece of sticker.
The marking will show you exactly where the center is so that the material covers the entire surface of the defect, as well as a portion around it. Push a needle into the center of the mark and defect and then position the material under the leather with the Long Spatula Tool with Wooden Handle Colourlock. Then glue the leather to the material.
In the case of cracks, superficial cuts and worn areas, Leather Glue Colourlock, 20ml should be applied sparingly. For an easier application, use the Colourlock Mini Tip Brush.
Clothing leather is generally very thin. In the case of thin skin, apply the adhesive sparingly to avoid "gluing the structure" of the leather. When the adhesive enters the leather, it will be visible on the outside in the form of a stain.
