Valvoline DPF Cleaner, 400ml is an effective way to weaken and remove carbon and ash deposits from diesel particulate filter (DPF) systems without being dismantled. How to use: Before applying Valvoline DPF Cleaner, allow the engine to cool to a temperature below 50 ° C. Shake the bottle and then put the nozzle on top. Then disconnect the pressure or temperature sensor from the system, insert the nozzle into the hole and spray 3 to 5 times at 5 second intervals. Repeat the process until the DPF Cleaner bottle is completely empty.
Finally, reinstall the temperature or pressure sensor, start the engine and let it idle for 15 minutes, after which you can do a half hour test. Remember that it is normal to see steam or liquid released after cleaning.
