1. After removing the old grips, clean the handlebar ends and the twisted grip assembly with surgical alcohol or with a contact lens cleaning solution or other solvent, such as alcohol.
2. Clean and lubricate the inside of the grip with water or surgical spirit, then push it into position on the end of the handlebar without twisting the grip.
3. Do not use soap, oil, or gasoline.
4. Wait 120 minutes before using the vehicle.
5. Before using the vehicle, check if the throttle grip moves freely. Fully open the throttle by twisting the grip towards you, then release it. The twist grip should rotate freely and return to the normal closed throttle position.
