The construction of the Abrasive Disc Mirka Abralon, 77mm consists of a grinding net, a foam center and a back with velcro fastening. The abrasive grains are attached to the net. The openings in the abrasive network allow water and air to move freely around the abrasive grains when the surface is sanded. Abrasive Disc Mirka Abralon, 77mm is ideal for rounded surfaces, corners and sharp edges. During dry sanding, the sanding net moves constantly. This prevents the grinding dust from sticking. The surface is easily cleaned with compressed air.
When the Abrasive Disc Mirka Abralon, 77mm is used for wet sanding, the open cell structure pushes water from the center of the foam through the openings in the sanding net when it is compressed. When the foam expands again, the liquid is absorbed again. Water, which moves constantly inside and out, keeps the product clean and thus prolongs its life.
