Particle Filter Additive Mercedes AdBlue, 10L is a solution of urea and demineralized water. It is non-toxic, colorless, odorless and non-flammable. AdBlue is injected into the exhaust fumes of the engine by the BlueTEC system and in the resulting chemical reaction, the oxides of nitrogen in the exhaust are transformed into harmless nitrogen and water vapor. Mercedes-Benz BlueTEC technology allows diesel models to benefit from low emissions, while maintaining performance in terms of power and torque.
